Floors 1–6 have 7 flats each. Floor 7 has 8. Every flat is a 1BHK (hall, kitchen, bedroom).
4 beds per flat
Two beds in the hall, two in the bedroom. Take 1 bed (sharing with strangers), 2 (with a friend or yourself), or all 4 (whole flat to yourself).
1 bathroom per flat — shared
All flatmates share one bathroom. Mornings get busy. If you want privacy, take twin sharing or the whole flat.
1 balcony per floor — shared
Every floor has one common balcony for all flats on that floor. Step out for a phone call or fresh air. Not private to your flat.

What's the deposit?
₹5,000 refundable. Paid online via Razorpay before move-in. Refunded within 30 days of vacating, after deductions for any damages.
What's the notice period?
One month. Standard. Notice can be given over WhatsApp or in writing.
Is food included?
No. Habitat is a kitchen-first PG, not a mess-PG. Every flat has a real kitchen — gas, fridge, microwave, dishes — and you cook for yourself or order in. Saves you ₹2,000–4,000/month vs mess PGs and gives you actual control over what you eat.
Can I have visitors?
Yes — during reasonable hours (until 10 PM). Visitors check in at the gate with the security guard. Overnight stays need prior approval.
Is there a curfew?
No curfew. You're a working adult. The gate is staffed 24×7.
What's the police verification process?
Mandatory under the Maharashtra Police Act for all PG tenants. You bring Aadhaar, PAN, employer letter, and previous-address proof. We file Form 1 with the local police station (Mundhwa or Hadapsar) within 24 hours of move-in. Standard, takes about 30 minutes of your time.
How do I pay rent?
Online only — Razorpay. We send a payment link on WhatsApp. No cash, no UPI-to-VPA, no informal collection. Every payment is tracked, every receipt is digital.
How many bathrooms does each flat have?
One. Every Habitat flat is a 1BHK with a single bathroom shared between all flatmates — so up to 4 people share one bathroom. Mornings can get busy when everyone leaves for office at the same time. Plan accordingly. If you want more privacy, take twin sharing (2 people, same 1 bathroom) or the whole flat (1 person, 1 bathroom to yourself).
Is there a balcony?
Yes — every floor has one shared balcony, used by all flats on that floor. You can step out for a smoke or a phone call, but it's a common space, not private to your flat. If you want a private outdoor space, we can't offer that today.
How is the building laid out — how many floors, how many flats?
7 floors. 50 flats total. Floors 1 to 6 have 7 flats each (42 flats), and Floor 7 has 8 flats (the top). Each flat is a 1BHK (hall + kitchen + bedroom + 1 bathroom). 4 beds per flat = 200 beds in total. Each floor shares one balcony.
What if I want to leave early?
Give one month's notice. Your deposit is refunded as long as the room is in good condition. No exit fee.
Is parking really free?
Yes — one bike spot OR one car spot per flat, included in the rent. Bigger or additional vehicles are case-by-case.
Do you have a women's PG?
Not yet. Habitat is currently men-only — Maharashtra licensing and security operations are gender-segregated for new properties. A separate women's location is being explored.
